eRaness: my new hero

As I was browsing vlogs on YouTube, I came accross my new favorite makeup artist. He goes by the username eRaness. I have already in the past few days started doing my own takes on his looks.

His videos are definitely my type, I can’t really stand all the whiny little teenage girls with their little blogs about how to put on eye shadow. Yes, the video I first posted for my tutorials probably falls under that category, I am fixing that. The video will be replaced by a better one soon! I’m going to be watching eRaness religiously and trying to learn how to make videos like his.
Check him out! He’s amazing!

E.L.F. makeup: eyes, lips, face

the makeup face

Now, as I will be posting tutorial videos soon, I thought it would be best to talk about makeup faces. 99% of girls can’t put on makeup looking like a super model. I like many girls make the weirdest faces while I apply makeup. That's right you are not alone, everyone else does it too.

So as I put up more and more videos expect to see plenty of funny putting-on-makeup faces.

new addition to my look

My newest and most perminant feature in my looks, my new piercings. About a week ago I endured the process of having a needle shoved through my lip, not once, but twice. Now, before having this done I was told by many friends "naaaaawww it doesn't hurt that bad." I am convinced said friends have no feeling in their faces. While the first one was quite painful, I somehow forgot to breath while the man was doing the second one and almost passed out on the floor.

For the first three days or so I carried cup of ice around with me EVERYWHERE. I got some odd looks in school and especially at church. I also was told how disgraceful I am to my family(okay maybe not those EXACT words) and preached at about neededing a job and how all companies out in the world are concervative so they won't hire me.

Well, the swelling has gone down, the ice cup gets left in the cupboard and my pain only occures when I accidently bite the end of the piercing. I am finally happy to present my newest look: snake bites.

Tish & Snooky's Manic Panic

This is my absolute favorite product for my hair. It was my first, my last and my only. I use nothing except for this to color my hair. I was introduced to this the first time I asked my friend to dye my hair. She told me to pick up something called Manic Panic. My life has never been the same. My mission began: try every color manic panic has to offer. My mission was almost complete when I got a job. Welcome to the real world, it sucks.

Anyway, back to the goddess-of-all-dyes. It is a semi-permanent hair dye and as far as neon colors go, it's the best. The only down side to this product is you have to bleach your hair before using it. Some tones you can get away with not bleaching before like black and red if you just want a tint. However, if you want the intense colors you HAVE to bleach your hair blonde.

I still have no problem with this dye. It is my absolute favorite and I would encourage anyone interested in bright hair to check it out.

I'll leave you with this, my life goal for my hair:

The very beginning

This was my very first adventure with hair dye. I, as a thirteen-year-old, somehow managed to convince my parents that it was a good idea. Three days later I had blue hair. Attending a public school at the time, my new colorful hair was not accept in the best way. The first day I wore it was a "spirit day." The days where school spirit is encouraged and craziness is welcomed. It worked especially well considering my school's colors were blue and yellow. However, the next day when I returned to school with my hair still blue, I was not treated well.

I must also mention that shortly after I got my hair cut into the Mohawk
style (of which I have no pictures) the school principal walked up to me and told me my hair was a weapon. No joke. He was serious.

That was my very first hair styling experience.

what you are in for

I am going to be running my blog from several different platforms. I am already set up on wordpress.com . I am going to transfer content to both pages as a way to expand my viewer community. Well, pretty much all you need to know is in my about page. Now, to the less formal introduction. Makeup, hair, and anything else you can think of that falls under cosmetics, I'm your girl. I've tried or seen everything out there imaginable. While I'm going to be doing a good amount of talking about myself and my experience, I'm open for questions requests and such. Let me know what you want to see. I have plenty of ideas but sometimes it's better to have more minds working.
